2021/2022 My own personal “exhibition” via social media. A solo art challenge to daily create an artwork for 100 days. Unofficially named The Creative Flow Challenge which started on the 7th October 2021 and went on until the 14th January 2022. What a wonderful journey of pushing boundaries, comfort zones and then giving myself the grace to doodle on days when I was low on energy 🙂
All artworks were created using a variety of mediums…sometimes inks, pencil-crayons & oil pastels , sometimes cyanotype and sometimes all of them together! I mostly use hot pressed watercolour paper in either A4 or A3 size depending on my subject matter and inspiration.
Here are some of the artworks:
2020/2021 Zeitz MOCAA Silo District, Cape Town Waterfront “Home is where the art is…” 22nd October 2020 – end October 2021.
An exhibition “by and for Capetonians”. All Capetonians, artists or not, were invited to submit a single artwork. What a brilliant concept to inspire our lovers of art during a tricky year! Well done Zeitz Team!
I’m happy to say that this painting has been sold to one of the incredible poets who inspired the completion of the painting. Fynbos Murmuration is now in her new home in the UK!
2019/2020 You & I Art Gallery , Main Road, Sea Point exhibited my work. Huge thanks to Henry for inviting me to have my work on display in his beautiful gallery space. Successful sales were made to international buyers as a result.
One of my commitments is to be part of the Epilepsy Warriors in the world that educate the general public on what epilepsy is all about, and how to help and not harm. Here are some of my YouTube clips which may help you understand epilepsy a bit more:
